I bet that question , kept Ar-Phazron awake. Why would a blessed immortal give up his grace ? Which leads me to Elrond. Although I don't think he would have stopped his daughter from marrying Aragorn. And there was a Thingolish challlenge to Aragorn....he supported Arwen in her choice  __________________ Love Light and Peace

Perhaps Elros Halfelven strongly considered that the tales of the Elves might contain the escape from Deathlessness. 'Fairy-stories are made by men not by fairies. The Human-stories of the elves are doubtless full of the Escape from Deathlessness.' JRRT, On Fairy-Stories Luthien escaped so, it might be said. Depends upon one's point of view here. __________________
