New comer

Hi de Hi People,

I am new to Tolkiens Forum and had a really difficult choice of whether to enter this thread or the fanatics thread.  I have read the Lord Of The Rings one and a half times, The Hobbit, The Silmarillion, Unfinished Tales and The Children of Hurin once.  So I think I made the right choice as I think I would prefer to go at a leisurely pace rather than sprinting.

Also, I am a big fan of the Lord Of the Rings films directed by Peter Jackson(my fellow countryman) which led me to read the books and have become a fan especially of  The Lord Of the Rings and The Hobbit.

Looking forward to some good discussions in this forum

Big greetings from the resident Mouth of Sauron! Always good to see new members joining whether they're new to the lore or well read.

Bellandor,
Welcome to "The Tolkien Forums".
This is a great place to learn, discuss, and meet friends who love Tolkien's works and all things Tolkien.
I have learned much and made some excellent friends.
Please feel free to make yourself to home.
I am only a member here but if I can help in anyway, please, just ask.
Again, you are most welcome!
Bear an Elf-Friend

I guess I am better late than never Welcome Bellandor
In Sindarin Bell means "Strong in Body" an means "for" or "toward" and Dor is land, dwelling- place, region where certain people live. As in Dor-Lomin a region south of Hithlum.

So if you are looking for excitement, you come to the right place.
