Elen síla lumenn'omentielvo! (A star shines upon the hour of our meeting!)

I hope you enjoy yourself and the company of others here at the forums.

If I may I'd like to know a bit about you.

How long have you been a Tolkienite; was there a particular book that spured your interest?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you, FirstBorn.
To be honest, I'm quite new in this matter, but I have read "The Sons of Húrin", "The Hobbit" and some Appendixes from LotR, though I just bought "The Silmarillion" and I'm looking forward for the complete LotR. In spite of that, I've have loved LotR since the movies were released.
How about you?

The Silmarillion goes down well, though some parts can get a bit heavy with all the names. Defintely worth persevering with, it's a wealth of information.

Welcome to the Forums!

Welcome to Tolkien forums Elendur, I hope you enjoy it here.
This site allows you to make a topic in relate to Lord of the Rings but not really necessary (correct me if I'm wrong). I look forward to the future with you and your stepping stone.
