Mae govannen, my friends

Hi everyone, I'm new on this forum. I'm French and I'm 22 ; also, even if I learn English since soon 15 years, forgive my future mistakes please.

As you I'm here to talk about Tolkien and his great work. The first book I've read was The Lord of the Rings but my favorite book is clearly The Silmarillion. I read in French or in English, I've no problems with that.

I don't know what else to say, if you have any questions I'd answer with pleasure!

Eldarion,

Welcome to The Tolkien Forums!
There are so many different conversational threads here and many people participate from other countries and all are welcome.
Years ago I started with "The Hobbit, or There and Back Again" and I'm still reading letters and new releases like "The Children of Hurin".
You will find many folks here who will bid you "Welcome!"
While I am only a member here if I can help in anyway please don't hesitate to ask.
When I was a new member the same was done for me.

I like the Silmarillion too ... my favorite part is the Ainulindale ~ "The Music of the Ainur!"
I love all of Tolkien's work and enjoy the knowledge and insight here on the Forums.

I hope you will also.

Again, if I can help in anyway, please ask.

and again ...Welcome!

Bear an Elf-Friend

And I'd like to add my welcome Eldarion. I won't be brave enough to attempt French just yet. Perhaps someday.

I'll just agree with everyone else here that it's a great place to learn and have fun. I hope you enjoy it.
