Hello, my name is Aikari. I can say I am well known into Tolkien's world. Facts, names, dates or something else? Most I am familiar with. I am quite a good and experienced post writer. I own most of the books, except the Home editions. Those are little too expensive for me to buy in the store. I don't reall...

Hello All!

Hello everyone, I am a huge fan of Tolkien's vast work (ever since first reading the Silmarillion years ago); and I hope to engage in some interesting discussions here. Oh by the way, is it only possible to be an Elf of the third age? (Not sure how the whole thing works)

Just me, Anorlas, saying hi! Been reading Tolkien since the 70s. Fell in love with Mithrandir and Alrond in the Hobbit. Didn't discover the Lord of the Rings intill much later but it was a treat. It has become an interest that never fades. I am only sorry that Tolkien can no longer delite us with more of hi...

Hey, I'm just a quiet fan who was content to read Tolkien every year or so, then these movies came out... Oh well.
So I though I'd stop in with the burning questions of import (on the irreverent level of Gandalf's steam locomotive fireworks.) Now I'm off to talk about Trotter.

I was brought here by my desire to ask a silly and potentially unanswerable question about Ulmo and the waking of the Elves. You can find it in the General Lore forum, if you are so inclined. Thanks for having me, and I look forward to much Tolkienian geekery in the future!

I know some about Tolkien, and I've read some of his letters. I still get confused about the geneologies. Is it Thingol>Luthien>...
