Just suggestions...

To the powers that be,
The "Forum's" chatbox has changed from the gray background to white.
I am not sure why but it is causing a little difficulty because the font is also white.
One can't read what is being typed.
If possible could the background be returned to the dark gray of before?

I think another more serious problem is that the chat traffic pushes the thread posting back out of sight and leaves the chat conversation as all that is visible.
I know that one only need visit the "Most Recent Posts" thread and continue from there but when who has been active, and what topic is active are displayed beneath the chatbox, the Forum activity picks up; there are more posts, it makes it easier to greet new Forum members, and encourages regular members to join in the posting.

I love this Forum.
It is an interesting experience and provides a unique and varied way to explore Tolkien and the many topics he and his work generate. And it is a place to make friends.

Please consider my suggestions.
Thank you,
Bear

Indeed, maybe the amount of lines in the chatbox could be increased, before the messages get moved to the second page. I currently count only ten lines per page.

The chatbox has been increased to allow twenty individual messages and alerts to display before another page is started, as opposed to the previous ten.

Will provide you with an update later in the week on the issue of chatbar colouration.
