Kindle?

Does anyone here own a Kindle. It is a reader that allows you to download books and read them on a hand held device?

Mr.Baggins,
Kindle is an electronic device which one uses as a book.
It is easily purchased through Amazon.com and you download books...from a free library... or you may purchase electronic books on line.
My wife uses hers all the time and has downloaded classical works as well as contemporary materials.
It has several features like automatic book markers, enlarged print, and some audio/visual options.
Ellen loves her's and uses it all the time.
I think you may get better information about it on Amazon.

Sounds the same thing as an e-book. What is the difference between a kindle and an electronic book?

Mr.Baggins,
I think you may be right.
If you are really interested check "Kindle" at your local "Amazon" link.
Good Hunting!
