Rohan's King has come

Greetings, i have many things i wish to discuss with all of you

1. Regarding being beginner or advanced fanatic, i have seen and read all of LOTR, i just have terrible memory so i might get things a little confused.

2. I would be very pleased if you welcome me into the rankings of Rohan.

3.  I would just like to say this.

Where now the horse and the rider?
Where is the horn that was blowing?
Where is the helm and hauberk and bright hair flowing?
Where is the hand on the harp string and the red fire glowing?
Where is the spring and the harvest and the tall corn growing?

They have passed like rain on the mountains, like wind in the meadows.
The days have gone down in the west, behind the hills... into shadow.

Who shall gather the smoke of the dead wood burning?
Or behold the flowing years from a sea returning?

Best... Poem... Ever...

Theoden King,
Welcome!
A very nice self - introduction.
It is one of my favorite poems too.
The whole story of the Rohan is a warrior's story.
I love it ... The kings awakening from the darkness of Wormtongue and Saruman ... his heroic defense of his people at Helm's Deep ... the answering of Gondor's call for help ... his fall as a warrior in combat ... the true victory of his noble heart ...
Eomer, Eowyn, Hama, Helm, etc ... etc.

Good choice in name and avatar.
You are most welcome here.
If I may be of help please don't hesitate to ask in any thread, in private message, or in the chat box.

Hail Theoden King!  Welcome and well met!

Welcome TheodenKing!! I am partial to the people, land and culture of Rohan as well. If you have read the LOTR collection only once it will be nearly impossible to not be confused. I've read it several times and still learn new things on this forum daily. You will not find a more knowledgable group of Tolkien fans anywhere els. Have a look around and if I can be of any assistance, doubtful though that may be, I will be very glad to help.

I thank you both for the Fond welcome.

Also, Iomoduin, i shall be sure to re-read the books to see if i can get more memorable knowledge of the lands, people, and creatures of Middle Earth.
