New kid on the Talan
(Preview)
Hi folks,
It's nice to be joining a group of fans. Dunno if I want to call myself "experienced" but I have read LOTR - oh let's say, many times, the Sil - a few and a fair bit of HoME. More importantly, I just love JRRT and I have just discovered the forum universe. I've started to post on another site...

Hello
(Preview)
Hello all. Although I have only been here for a few short days, I have not yet introduced myself. I am Elendil (since "the Tall" is merely a monikor, just as you would not call Forlong "the Fat" to his face), and I have been a Tolkien fan for quite a number of years now. I have read quite a few of T...

Gil-Galad is now Gothmog!
(Preview)
Hey, I was Gil-Galad. But now I've changed my name to Gothmog. I figure its fiting since I'm with the "slaves of Uddun" kingdom. And have an orc as an avatar. So their it is. No confusion.
Gil-Galad.

Hi. I just joined today and wanted to say hi. About me: I'm 22 and from the USA. At other boards I have joined, many of the people have been European (they obviously have the good sense to like Tolkien's works), so I thought I'd specify. I have read Lord of the Rings easily 10 times. The Silmarillion I have r...
