Actors you think fit Silmarillion characters?

Often i have tried in my mind to find actors who would look the part for Silmarillion characters.  Would like to explore possible choices just for the fun of it.  Pick any actor/actress, living or dead.

I realize it will be near impossible to fit an actress to fit the description of Luthien.  i'm interested in who people choose.

Thingol - Michael Landon, as he was in the late  80's. "silver " hair, strong commanding presence.

Turgon - Sean Connery

Tulkus or Orome (cant decide?) - Dan Haggerty

Luthien or Aredhel Ar-Feiniel - Lacey Chabert

Melian - Catherine Zeta-Jones (in her mid 30's through early 40's)

More to come as I find time.

Eol the Dark Elf - Christopher Walken, in the 80's

Azaghal, you do know your actors! I for one cannot think of anyone I'd like for a potential Silmarillion movie, but then again, I think this is mainly because of the way I envision such a movie in the first place.

If it were up to me, I'd give the copyright to HBO or another television with lots of money, to serialize it. I believe it is impossible to treat the book the same way Peter Jackson treated The Hobbit and LotR, because there is a lot less unity in The Silmarillion to cram into a single film (even if split in the proverbial trilogy that Jackson is obsessed with). Therefore I would also choose unknown actors, whose faces do not immediately make me think of other characters. I'd like them to grow on me as the show progressed. Sean Connery, for that reason, is out of the question.

But looking at those photos you posted, I'll just add that Dan Haggerty for me looks better as Tulkas, and that your choice for Fingolfin also appeals to my taste, although I'd not mind someone with sharper features, such as in this painting:

I'd like to see Sean Bean as Beren. Granted, he'd still die ...

I had to look him up (God, I'm bad with actors... I had no idea he played Boromir). I suspect he could take the role, but perhaps a younger version of him.
